Far out, and way down yonder, as Argentinian Juan Velasco is this Saturday contesting the interim super light world title of the World Boxing Council against champion Regis Prograis.

The boxer born in Palpalá, who`s  based in Buenos Aires, is determined to realize this opportunity to win this title, knowing that victory will open many more doors in the United States. So much so, that he arrived to New Orleans more than one month ago, to become fully  acclimatized, totally prepared and really ready for this battle at the Lakefront Arena.

The Argentine, who arrives undefeated, with 20 fights and 12 knockouts, has fought twice in Mexico. But, Regis Prograis will be a complicated opponent and a huge challenge for Juan.  Finally Regis  will be fighting at home. He too  is undefeated, with an impressive record of 21 fights and has 18 knockouts.
