Revered as one of the greatest heavyweights in history and  the pride of Ukraine: Vitali Klitschko, will be inducted into the International Hall of Fame in Canastota, NY.

 
Born on on July 9, 1971, in Belovodsk, Kyrgyzstan, in the former Soviet Union, Vitali began his career as a professional boxer in 1996, winning almost all his first 24 matches by way of KO. Known also as "Doctor Ironfist," Vitali won  the World Boxing Council crown on April 24, 2004, beating Corrie Sanders in the Staples Center, Los Angeles, by KO.  He went on to make 11 defenses of his title between 2004 and 2012.
 
With an impressive record of 45 wins, 41 of them by way of the knockout and only two losses, Vitali is considered by many experts and boxing fans as an icon of the heavyweights, with a  KO ratio of 87%!
 
 
A expressive superstar,  an impressive ambassador for Boxing, and now an expansive  Mayor  of Kiev, Vitali will  deservedly be inducted into the International Hall of Fame.
