Unbeaten USNBC super bantamweight champion Carlos Castro (20-0 9 KO'S), 24, of Phoenix, Arizona, is  a rising star and one of the best prospects in boxing today.
 
Carlos was born in Ciudad Obregón, Sonora, and moved to Phoenix with his family when he was 2 years old. He had an extensive amateur career with  almost 200 fights, winning  a pair of national titles in amateur tournaments. Castro made his professional debut when he was 18 on June 16, 2012, winning a unanimous four-round decision over Tony Green at the Celebrity Theater in Phoenix.
 
Castro has fought 16 of his 20 professional fights at the Celebrity Theater, having a loyal fan base in his hometown. Castro lives and trains in Phoenix with  the led of Angel Soto, who has been his coach since he was 10 years old.
 
Castro passed a great test in September 2016, knocking out the experienced Jorge Diaz. Carlos achieved 2 important triumphs in 2017 over Juan Palacios and Basilio Nieves.
 
In his most recent fight, on February 24 in Phoenix, Castro knocked out Alexis Santiago in the tenth round to win the first prestigious title of his career, the USNBC super bantamweight belt endorsed by the World Boxing Council.
 
Carlos has expressed his desire to conquer the WBC green and gold crown, which would be the peak of boxing achievement.
