Ganigan Lopez, who has "A mountain to climb,"  to win back the WBC light flyweight Green and Gold  belt, is training throughout  rugged climes, in the State of Mexico, before sunrise, in order to be ready for his trip to the land of The Rising Sun.

The highly anticipated rematch between Ganigan  and champion Ken Shiro, is slated for  May 25th  in Tokyo.  Ganigan was crowned flyweight champion in March 2016, when he dethroned Yu Kimura in Kyoto. He successfully defended it, defeating Jonathan Taconing, but then lost it  to Ken on  May 2nd.

The Japan quest especially motivates Ganigan, because it was the origin of his greatest triumph.  He recalls:  "Once I won the world title in Japan and I now have the confidence to repeat the feat and  exact  revenge against Shiro." Southpaw Ganigan (28-7, 17 KOs), is undergoing and he needs a great preparation to face, outfight and outpace  undefeated Ken Shiro (12-0, 6 KOs).
