"Thai Wonder," Wanheng Menayothin knocked out Panamanian Leroy Estrada in five searing rounds, defending the World Boxing Council minimumweight title, and equalling  Floyd Mayweather Jr`s  50 wins without defeat.

The brilliant record equation, took place in the city of Nakhon Ratchasima.  And Menayothin  made no mistakes with a tremendous performance, sending Estrada  five times to the canvas,  in his ninth and most spectacular crown defence, securing his position as a legend in Boxing.

The President of the World Boxing Council, Mauricio Sulaiman, was there at this extraordinary fight for the Thai fans, and worldwide Boxing enthusiasts, to witness history in the making.

Menayothin dominated the fight from start to rapid fire finish, inspired, unrelenting and irresistible.  He dropped Estrada twice in round three, twice more in round four, when the bell only just saved the Panamanian and once more in the fifth, before Referee Jay Nady, called a halt. The publically announced scores after the fourth round,  although ultimately academic, clearly showed the champion's advantage and dominance was total, as indicated by the cards. with scores of:  39-33, 39-33 and 40-32.

Roared, cheered and willed on by his people and his peers,  phenomenal  Menayothin powered to victory in the fifth round, with cascades of combinations,  which abruptly ended the lofty aspirations of the Panamanian fighter, and securing his 50th triumph as a professional.  Brave but crestfallen Estrada left the ring  with  a record of 16 with 6 KO´s and 3 loses.
