In a clash for the interim World Boxing Council super lightweight title, undefeated Regis Prograis (21-0, 18 KOs) swept aside  former  world champion Julius Indongo (22-2, 11 KOs) in two rounds at the Deadwood Mountain Grand in Deadwood, South Dakota.

In the final seconds of the opening round, Prograis landed a jolting jab that knocked Indongo  to the canvas. In the second round, Prograis continued to attack Indongo, and floored him for the second time with a huge left hand.

Tall beanpole Indongo bravery clambered back to his feet, only just supported by bending reedy pipe stem legs. But Prograis continued the one way traffic jam, felling him  for a third time. Referee Ian John-Lewis gave Indongo one more opportunity to remain in the bout, but Prograis finished it  at 2:54 of round two.

Prograis immediately turned his attention to a possible matchup with the winner of next week’s Imam-Ramirez matchup.
