Americans Jose Carlos Ramirez and Amir Imam will contest the WBC super lightweight  title that Terrence Crawford left vacant and this event will be  at Madison Square Garden Theater in New York, on March 17  presented by Top Rank, to be  be broadcast  by ESPN.

Ramirez, an Olympian  at London 2012, has a professional record of 21-0 with 16 knockouts, while Amir,  has a record of  21-1 and 18 knockouts.

As part of the WBC's safety standards, both fighters have successfully submitted their 30-day pre-weigh. Imam delivered his MRI and presented all medical exams, while Ramirez must still present them.

We greatly appreciate the work of William Boodhoo, who is responsible for keeping track of  these vital requirements.
