Omar Chavez (28-2-1, 21 ko’s) wants to have an impressive return to boxing when he fights Saturday in Foro Tecate in his homeland Culiacan, and he'll face a toughtest facing Venezuelan Pablo “Talentoso” Vazquez (21--0, 19 ko’s).face
He's fighting fit, but his main test will be emotional. He has stressed he wants to begin a new era in his career and become a better boxer.
The youngest member of the Chavez dynasty was defeated by Jorge “Maromerito” Paez last July by SD in Tijuana. Being defeated twice in his career and by the same rival affected him so much that he even thought of retirement.
After giving it a serious consideration, with his family, he decided to give a new try.
