1937.- In Comiskey Park, Chicago, the immortal Joe Louis got up off the canvas in the first round, to defeat The "Cinderella Man" Jimmy Braddock in the 8 round of a scheduled 15 round bout. With this triumph Louis become world heavyweight Champion and defended his crown an amazing 25 times, establishing a record of defenses in the division.

The fight was at Madison Square Garden in Long Island, New York. The Referee was Ed Smith. George Kelly and Charles F. 1981.- The great Nicaraguan KO artist Alexis Arguello, conquered the WBC lightweight championship defeating Jim Watt, from Scotland by UD over fifteen rounds. Jim retired from boxing after this fight . The action took place at the Empire Pool Wembley in London. The Referee was Arthur Mercante. The Judges were Kurt Halbach, Dick Young and Robert Desgain.
